Dr. Marc Giraud has been practising orthopaedic surgery for 26 years and is part of a team of 5 surgeons working together in private practice at the Clinique du Pont de Chaume.
He began his career at the University Hospital of Toulouse and moved to the Clinique du Pont de Chaume in 1990 where he was chairman of the board for 10 years.
Dr. Giraud has been involved in the restructuring of French private hospitals over the past ten years.
He is a member of several scientific medical societies, including the French Society of Orthopedic Surgeons (SOFCOT), The French Society of Hip and Knee (SFHG), the French Society of Arthroscopy (SFA).
He has collaborated in several scientific activities in international publications. He loves to teach his peers and is one of the some European surgeons members of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) since 2008.
He is an instructor for several specific surgical techniques in orthopaedic surgery, in collaboration with major companies such as Johnson & Johnson or Brainlab.
He regularly gives lectures on orthopaedic surgery in South America and India.
At France Surgery, Dr. Giraud is responsible, with a team of selected specialists of analyzing each medical file, in order to validate it at the very beginning of the process and refer the patient to the best suited medical team facility for his pathology.
