Dr. Marc Giraud
Dr. Marc Giraud has been practicing orthopaedic surgery for 22 years. He is part of a team of 5 surgeons working at the Clinic du Pont de Chaume, France handling emergencies as well as elective procedures.
He started his career at the renowned Toulouse University Hospital Center and in 1990 he began practicing at the Clinic of Pont de Chaume where he was president of the executive board for 10 years.
Over the past five years, Dr Giraud has contributed to the restructuring of French private hospitals.
He is a member of several scientific medical societies, including; the French Society of Orthopaedic Surgeons (SOFCOT), The French Society of Hip and Knee (SFHG) and the French Society of Arthroscopy (SFA).
He has contributed to several scientific reports featured in international publications.
He regularly enjoys teaching his peers and since 2008, has been one of the few European surgeons that is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS).
He is an instructor for several specific surgical techniques in orthopaedic surgery in collaboration with major companies such as Johnson & Johnson and Brainlab.
He speaks annually at international conferences about orthopaedic surgery.
