Sue Chapman

Gulf Regional Clinical Manager, Great Ormond Street Hospital, UAE

sue-chapmanSue Chapman is an expert paediatric nurse with extensive experience in paediatric high dependency and critical care. As Gulf Regional Clinical Manager at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust she provides a link between clinical teams at GOSH and referring hospitals across the Gulf region. Sue consults both nationally and internationally and acts as an expert witness for the police service, NHS Trusts and international healthcare organisations.

She has also been appointed as a specialist adviser to the CQC, the body which regulates healthcare in the UK. An active researcher with an interest in improving the care for children who are deteriorating, she has published peer reviewed articles on paediatric early warning systems, nursing leadership and paediatric high dependency/critical care and is due to complete her PhD in December 2016.
