Deputy Chief Medical Officer, Hygeia Hospital, Greece
Dr Stergios Tasiopoulos is an Internist. He currently works as an Associate Director of the 1st Department of Internal Medicine and as a Deputy Chief Medical Officer in Hygeia Hospital.
He studied Medicine in National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, where he also completed his Thesis.
He specialised in Internal Medicine in the 1st Department of Internal Medicine of the Athens National and Kapodistrian University, with special interest in Emergency Medicine and Respiratory Diseases.
His interest in clinical research is represented by a wide range of publications in international and Greek medical journals, as well as presentations in international and Greek medical congresses. Stergios participated as a Lecturer in the training program of National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in Internal Medicine.
He has worked at Hygeia Hospital since 2004, where he has had the opportunity to treat numerous patients from all over the world travelling to Greece.
As an active member of multiple commitees and from the position of Deputy Chief Medical Officer, Stergios has had the opportunity to participate in the evolvement of policies and strategies concerning the safety and quality of health care provided by Hygeia Hospital.
